Sharing experiences of discovering Norwegian roots and exploring the country he grew to love, Matti Rowe, winning contestant of the Norwegian reality show Alt For Norge joined AmCham members for 2012’s first Business After Hours: Fresh Travel Perspectives event. Returning to Norway for the first time since the completion of the second season, Matti told guests about the many high points of his experience on the show at the Heimen store, located next to the Best Western Bondeheimen. Following Matti, Bente Borvik of Royal Caribbean International provided a detailed presentation of cruise line’s services including vessel accommodations and the many destination options. Focusing next on the vacation hot-spot Florida, Bente captivated the audience explaining everything there is to do in the sunshine state, certainly helping to persuade some guests to consider taking one of Royal Caribbean’s many cruises in the future. In addition to great travel tips, guests also enjoyed fantastic hors d’oeuvres provided by the hotel’s Kaffistova restaurant.
