New Video: American Wines in Norway

AmCham Norway’s US Wine Committee has worked tirelessly to enhance awareness, access, and market share for US wines in Norway since 2008.

Comprised of ten importer members, AmCham and US Embassy personnel, the Committee plans tastings and informational meetings, works with Norwegian wine journalists and distributes timely information to key stakeholders. The Committee is the voice of US wines in Norway.

The Committee’s most recent initiative is this short film. It shows that we still have a way to go before American wines are in everyone’s glass. Though Norway is a small country and ultimately a small market, it should be noted that American wine sales have increased more in Norway than in any other European country over the past two years.

We sincerely hope that this film will create awareness and dialogue on this topic, eventually resulting in more focus on Norway as a growth market for American wines – enjoy!
